CuteHTML is another HTML editor for web developers. It features several ready-to-use javascript snippets that you can easily insert and use into your web pages.
This program has some interesting features, like the MS Word-like table creation (by drag-and-drop the numbers of columns and rows) and a sort of intelliSense feature over HTML elements and attributes. Moreover you can choose from a lot of 1-click tag insertions and configurations.
The user interface is clear but rudimentary, buttons at toolbars are hard to read, and need to be repainted a little.
CuteHTML is a product from GlobalScape (creator of the so-popular CuteFTP program) and was a known choice on the web business. However, the author discontinued this product long ago and its use is strongly discouraged as it became obsolete in every aspects, and thus almost useless.
It lacks support of well-formed HTML (compliant with W3C standards), for example, by using the deprecated tags. And the only format supported is HTM or HTML: forget about CSS, Javascript or anything else.
In my opinion, being a web editor is fairly incomplete and limited. There are many other programs for FREE (the excellent Notepad++, for example).
